The industry certificates and the federal diploma are not awarded by us but earned through the SVBO module exams – we prepare you for them.
With the exams of basic modules 1, 2, 3 and 5 you can obtain the certificate of trainer with SVBO industry certificate. With the additional main module exam 3 you obtain the certificate of health trainer with SVBO industry certificate.
If you additionally complete main module 2 and elective module 3, you will have completed all modules for admission to the final exam for Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion with federal diploma.

Basic module 1
Competence
The Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion guides individuals or groups in fitness or exercise centres in performing movements. Holistic advice regarding movement, relaxation and nutrition is always at the centre. The Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion bases this advice on their current and sound specialist knowledge in anatomy and physiology.

This means they have broad knowledge in the area of training principles, contents and methods as well as training control.

Basic module 3
Competence
The Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion draws up teaching and course planning based on guiding objectives and selects suitable media and methods as well as the appropriate social forms for this. They have basic knowledge of communication and analyse their own communication behaviour. They have sound knowledge of the characteristics of a group and group processes and are able to master difficult situations; they also have knowledge of learning biology.

They know their differentiated fields of application and are able to explain their anatomical and biomechanical characteristics correctly and comprehensively.

... have, with regard to an expanded exercise repertoire, in-depth knowledge in the differentiated application of various devices as well as associated knowledge in functional anatomy. In doing so, they cover the areas of strength, endurance, mobility and sensorimotor skills.

Main module 2
Competence
The Specialists in Physical Activity and Health Promotion with the specialisation "fitness and health training" develop individualised, mainly device-based training programmes and carry them out. Based on the needs of clients, a tailored assessment and jointly agreed goals, they create structured, individualised training programmes. They define the individual training sessions and exercises and set a scope of effect. They prepare the individual training sessions so as to enable an optimal training environment for clients. They instruct the respective exercises of the session in a target-group-appropriate manner and describe the exact handling of the devices in order to guarantee a safe and health-promoting movement sequence. Correctness in the execution of the exercises is very important to them, so that during the session they attentively watch the clients at all times, recognise difficulties and give the necessary improvement tips. Once the training session is over, they reflect on it and note important information about the client or the devices accordingly. They are always present for the clients and support all clients on the training floor, regardless of the current training session. Open to client complaints, they create a constructive solution by adjusting the individual training session as well as their own way of working.

Main module 3
Competence
The Specialists in Physical Activity and Health Promotion develop and accompany holistic and individualised counselling concepts for health promotion and lifestyle intervention.
Based on a counselling interview and an assessment, they design an individual concept for the health-promoting support of the client. In the concept, they describe the client's topic areas in which action is needed, the framework conditions as well as the concrete objectives for the client. They also give clients useful tips on how to improve their health in everyday life. They actively support and assist clients in implementing the training and exercise programme. With clients who have specific training and movement restrictions, they pay particular attention to a careful implementation and continuous support.
In order to ensure the health-promoting effect in the long term, they evaluate the counselling concept at regular intervals. They incorporate the interim results and improvements in the client's stage of development into the support concept or develop an individual follow-up concept. The Specialists in Physical Activity and Health Promotion are aware of the importance of their own work-life balance and actively work on maintaining it.

Competence
The Specialists in Physical Activity and Health Promotion with the specialisation "fitness and health training" lead their employees with commitment and professionalism. They organise the onboarding of new employees with qualified interviews, planned induction programmes as well as with jointly defined objectives. In the interest of optimally supporting their staff, they take their responsibility as a leader seriously and answer technical questions, carefully explain complex client programmes and conscientiously introduce new devices and systems in order to ensure the correct way of working of each employee. In addition, they maintain an active feedback culture with the entire team regarding their performance and consciously encourage mutual exchange and collaboration. Team culture is very important to them, which is why they continuously promote its improvement process
