Although the scientific evidence on many supplements (in English „nutritional supplements“ or „ergogenic aids“) is relatively broad and the (in)effectiveness of many substances is well studied, there is great uncertainty among the population regarding the use of performance-enhancing foods. In this course you get to know the fundamentals of sports nutrition as well as the current state of scientific evidence on so-called supplements.
The sport and nutrition coach training consists of e-learning-supported self-study (approx. 100 - 150 hours) as well as 2 days of practical attendance (16 lessons). Our state-of-the-art learning platform guides you step by step through the course. Different learning content in the form of scripts in PDF format, audio files, flashcards and learning videos help you to understand the content easily. This way you can even gather new knowledge while shopping.
With registration you get your access to the learning platform. You can learn all content independently of place and time. Once you have worked through the learning content of a topic, you can take the learning check. If this learning check is passed, you immediately move on to the next topic. If you have questions, proven nutrition experts are regularly available to you in the online consultation hours.
As soon as you have passed all modules, you can register for the practical attendance phase (2 days). These are offered throughout German-speaking Switzerland. In these attendance phases the theoretical content is put directly into practice. You are accompanied by speakers with many years of practical experience.
After the attendance phase, the course concludes with a final project, in order to successfully complete the sport and nutrition coach training.
