The all-inclusive training to become a Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion with Federal Diploma starts with the Fitness- und Bewegungstrainer Basic. You then deepen your knowledge with the Fitness- und Bewegungstrainer Advanced. Through the Preparatory course for the module examinations Trainer und Gesundheitstrainer SVBO (Branchenzertifikat), the Fitness- und Bewegungstrainer Pro and once you have accumulated 5000 hours of professional practice, you can sit all the module examinations in order to gain admission to the final examination.
The examination fee for the module examinations is also included in the training.

Requirements for participation in the final examination of Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion with Federal Diploma.

• Completed vocational apprenticeship or school-leaving certificate (Matura)
• Prove professional experience of at least 5000 hours.
• Hold a valid BLS AED certificate (is included in the Fitness- und Bewegungstrainer Basic).
• The completion of the following module examinations of the training to become a Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion with Federal Diploma:
  Basic module 1: Anatomy and physiology
  Basic module 2: Training theory
  Basic module 3: Methodology, didactics, learning psychology
  Basic module 5: Advanced equipment-based and equipment-independent movement competence
  Main module 2: Developing and implementing training programmes.
  Main module 3: Health promotion and lifestyle intervention

With the Fitness- und Bewegungstrainer Pro, elective module 3 (Staff management) can be completed.

The Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion with Federal Diploma is classified at level 5 in the classification grid for the professional qualification in physical activity and health promotion EBQ.

With this training, you can work in a fitness centre, in a hotel or in a wellness facility, or become self-employed. It is important that you already work during the training in order to accumulate sufficient hours.
