Requirement for the certificate
With the completion of Fitness and Movement Trainer Basic and Fitness and Movement Trainer Advanced, 1000 h of professional practice and the successful completion of the 4 basic module exams (1, 2, 3, and 5) you attain the diploma Trainer specialisation fitness and health training with SVBO industry certificate. All 4 exams are written and last approx. 60 minutes.
Requirements for obtaining the industry certificate
- Demonstrate professional experience of at least 1000 hours.
- Hold a valid BLS AED certificate (is included in the Fitness and Movement Trainer Basic).
- Pass a practical exam according to SVBO standards (is included in the Fitness and Movement Trainer Advanced).
- The completion of the following module exams:
Basic module 1: Anatomy and physiology
Basic module 2: Training theory
Basic module 3: Methodology, didactics, learning psychology
Basic module 5: Extended equipment-based and equipment-independent movement competence
Trainer specialisation fitness and health training with SVBO industry certificate is classified at level 3 in the classification framework for the professional qualification movement and health promotion EBQ.
With the preparation course for the module exams basic modules 1, 2, 3 and 5 and main modules 2 and 3, you are perfectly prepared for the exams.

Is the training recognised throughout Switzerland?

What requirements must be met to take part in the training?
To take part you must be 16 years old and healthy enough for sport to be able to demonstrate the training exercises. You should be open and communicative. You need good spoken and written German skills to understand the content and reflect your thoughts in the exam.
