  • In this phase, you learn the content of the last two module examinations: training coaching and staff management.
  • This training is ideal if you would like to manage a fitness centre

Module Details

In order to take part in the federal final examination, 7 module examinations must be completed:
Basic module examinations:

  • Basic module 1: Anatomy and physiology
  • Basic module 2: Training theory
  • Basic module 3: Methodology, didactics, learning psychology
  • Basic module 5: Advanced equipment-based and equipment-free movement competence

Main module examinations:

  • Main module 2: Develop and carry out a training programme.
  • Main module 3: Health promotion and lifestyle intervention

1 of 3 elective modules:

  • Elective module 1: Networking and continuing education
  • Elective module 2: Sales and administration
  • Elective module 3: Staff management

Requirements for the Final Examination

In order to be admitted to the federal final examination for the Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion, various requirements must be met. These include proof of a completed vocational apprenticeship or a Matura as well as the aforementioned professional experience of at least 5000 hours. A valid BLS AED certificate is also required, which is part of the Fitness- und Bewegungstrainer Basic. In addition, all 7 module examinations (4 basic modules, 2 main modules and 1 elective module) must be completed.
The basic modules are anatomy and physiology, training theory, methodology, didactics, learning psychology, advanced movement competence

The main modules are the development and execution of training programmes and health promotion.

The elective module is staff management (the other modules are not offered by the update Akademie).


Qualification and Qualification Level

After successfully completing the training and the module examinations, graduates obtain the title "Specialist in Physical Activity and Health Promotion with Federal Diploma".

This qualification is classified and recognised at level 5 in the classification grid for professional qualifications EBQ at level 5.
